- Reinstall the game with the apk of your screen size

I think the graphic will failed to display on SGS2 is because the sd data is exculsive for certain phone GPU only...So we can do nothing now, just wait for the suitable/mali-400 version...

I fixed this bug...You have to set "unroll textures to 32 bit" in chainfore and it will work good...But after a few seconds the game crashes (also without chainfire settings) on my nexus s with 4.0.3

Work perfectly in xperia x10..no bug at all..sometime lag with stock rom but no lag with Dikej Dixperia3 ROM..I'm using WVGA apk and use titanium backup files..

Edit:Can anyone make the apk specifically for xperia x10 screen (480 x 854 ), when I using WVGA apk, the screen of game is little bit smaller and create a lag, but if I use 540x960 apk, game's screen is bigger than xperia x10 but the game is so smooth without lag...

First, install the game, before launch the game, back it up with titanium..replace the files in titanium(in your sdcard) with the one given in the first post..and then launch titanium and restore SF4 data only..then you can start the game..

Humm, the game is designed to play only on LG nitro, so all adreno gpu based mobile phones have greate hope to play with the cracked resolution fixed. However, the rest of us with tegra2, mali, powervr gpu based mobile phones, will need chainfire help. p.s do not run game aftyer install of you will corrupt the sd files, just run titanium backup immediately and only restore data.

Make sure it replace the original file in titanium backup folder..sometimes it won't replace because different name of file and backup date..so, I suggest you to search the SF4 files in titanium folder in your SD card and delete them all, then copy the TB files given in first post..

Working on HTC sensation running cyanogen mod 71. alpha 10 and the faux kernel.

Just quick step guide below:
1) Download SD data and 960 X 540 APK
2) Copy data to Memory Card/SF_IV_DATA
3) Install APK but do not open.
4) Copy the titanium back up data to Titanium Backup folder on SD card.
5) Do a data only restore from Titanium back up
6) Now do the games first run

Works perfect no white background, no multi touch crash.

Hi all
Just to confirm this is working on HTC desire HD (rooted obviously) no major issues, slight lag and audio stutter but completely playable. Just finished the game, no white background or file close issues here :-)

Its really important that you download the right SD files, for some reason some of the ones posted on the previous pages dont work and will give you a corrupted file message. I downloaded the sd file from the 1st page link and the Titanium Backup as well.

When you've downloaded the SD data check how many items you have, there should be 4514 in the folder SF data folder. Its then simply a case of following the methods previously mentioned:

1.Download SD data extract it to the SD card root
2.Download TB backup data, extract and copy the 3 files from the folder to the Titanium Backup folder in the SD cards root
3.Install the APK of your screen size but do not run the game
4.Go into Titanium Backup and choose the backup/restore option ( situated at top row of the screen in between "overview" and "schedules")
5.Scroll downwards and find file "SF IV HD 1.00.00"
6.touch the "SF IV HD 1.00.00" once and choose option restore
7.then choose option data only
8.In the notification area at the top of the screen it will tell you if the restore was successful
9.If so exit Titanium Backup and run the application as normal
This should then allow the game to run normal

NB: If you're still getting a corrupted data message, try deleting the SD card data and re extracting it again and follow the methods above.

I was having all the same problems as a lot of others and for the last 3 days have been trying to figure where the issue is and its simply the quality of the SD card data (remember use the ones posted on the first page) and restore the backup data only before running the apk.

I'm using a HTC Desire HD running virtuous unity 1.3.1 overclocked to 1.2ghz but this will work on a rooted htc desire hd running at normal clock speed.

Bro, rar file in that link has apks for 800x480, 560x940, 320x240, SD Data and titanium backup files, now check which device you've, first copy SD data on the root of your SDCard, then install your device screen apk, and don't run, copy titanium Backup files into titanium backup folder and then restore its data only using titanium backup app, you're done, that's how this game is working on my sensation and Desire Z, both has v2.3.4 gingerbread.

Ok First i would like to give my thanks to TheOne for this forum and making this thread and openglhk for all his work on making this game playable by everyone.
Ok now i tested the version 854x480 uploaded by openglhk and it works greatly on my Xperia Play you just need to install this APK and copy the data of the game to the root of your SD. No need to use Titanium and no need to have a rooted phone.
For Xperia play user you have to know that the pad is not compatible and will only be when Capcom will do an official release. Trying to slide the phone will close the game. The game runs quite smoothly but probably need to be optimized on the sound and the speed (also the character seems too short maybe because of the touch pad). The game may also crash randomly, best way i found to keep playing more than one match is putting the phone on plane mode and killing my other apps if someone find another way let me know.

Ok for those people with white screen/ white background problem (and in particular galaxy S2 users), listen to me VERY VERY VERY VERY CAREFULLY...

The problem can only be solved with Chainfire 3D, dont waste time with anything else. And the problem itself can be solved! Your problem is likely 99% to do with a badley installed Chainfire version - likley a cracked one. But doesnt matter, the cracked one will work too. You got to make sure its actually working and using the plugins, because its probably not using them even though you selected.

I followed the instalation method for Chainfire i got from here:

1. Download version 2.8 and install it.
2. Download version 2.0 and install eu.chainfire3f3d.pro.apk.
3. Download version 3.3 and install it.

every install is overwritten on the previous one. Every thing works, per app and market. all the pro features.

These are cracked ones, and they worked fine. Follow the exact installation, one at time. AND remmember, you may have to instal OVER Chanfire a few times, that is if you get an instalation error for it. But it should work evetually. I got mine working with 3.3, with S2 1900. Runs smooth as butter.

As everyone knows you have to choose the Qualcomme plugin.

*FOR ALL WHO GETS FC WHEN OPEN THE GAME*

So, I had FC too when I open the game with Titanium backup files, but I found a solution, and the game runs great :D

This is how I make it run :
*YOU NEED TO HAVE A ROOTED PHONE*
- Download SD files, apk for your phone screen and Titanium backup files
- Put SD files folder called SF_IV_DATA and the apk on your SD card
- Put Titanium backup files into Titanium Backup folder on your SD card
- Open Tinanium Backup and restore Street Fighter files (apk+data)
- Go to /data/data/jp.co.capcom.android.sf4hd with Root Explorer (or any other app same as this)
- Copy the folder called "files" on /data/data/jp.co.capcom.android.sf4hd to you SD card
- Uninstall the game & data from your phone (normally, in Parameters>Apps>...)
- Reinstall the game with the apk of your screen size
- Copy the folder "files" from your SD card to /data/data/jp.co.capcom.android.sf4hd (-> Now, a folder called "lib" must be here)
- Run the game
- Let's play !!!

I just registered to let you know how grateful I was when your solution help fixing my Galaxy SII (KI3 firmware). I'm now able to play the the game perfectly and without white background.

Strangely, my Galaxy S I didn't need the above solution and it was a much simpler install.

P.S. I used Chanifire3D Pro v1.8

Working without any problem on my galaxy s 1 ,without any background issue but facing one small problem whenever i face or use "c.viper" in this game it just close automatically but when i run this game without fixing white backgroung issue it doesn't closes on this character.
I have also try this on galaxy s+ but in this phone i found no such problem.

no you got the wrong version!!! Google is your best friend if your not sure of something!!!

I just registered to let you know how grateful I was when your solution help fixing my Galaxy SII (KI3 firmware). I'm now able to play the the game perfectly and without white background.

Strangely, my Galaxy S I didn't need the above solution and it was a much simpler install.

P.S. I used Chanifire3D Pro v1.8

After 23 page discussion seem to be its working on all adreno gpu device. other gpu wonner use chainfire3d. some are saying working well with chainfire3d v1.8

If You Get *FC WHEN OPEN THE GAME*
Use this Instruction :
*YOU NEED TO HAVE A ROOTED PHONE*
- Download SD files, apk for your phone screen and Titanium backup files
- Put SD files folder called SF_IV_DATA and the apk on your SD card
- Put Titanium backup files into Titanium Backup folder on your SD card
- Open Tinanium Backup and restore Street Fighter files (apk+data)
- Go to /data/data/jp.co.capcom.android.sf4hd with Root Explorer (or any other app same as this)
- Copy the folder called "files" on /data/data/jp.co.capcom.android.sf4hd to you SD card
- Uninstall the game & data from your phone (normally, in Parameters>Apps>...)
- Reinstall the game with the apk of your screen size
- Copy the folder "files" from your SD card to /data/data/jp.co.capcom.android.sf4hd (-> Now, a folder called "lib" must be here)
- Run the game
- Let's play !!!

Im a noob when it comes to this but with fies n blah blah im alright but what does this mean exactly? what folder called "Files" is it the TB backup files or whats up? I have the G2X by the way and im using 1280x800 is that good?

i hate to say this but if you got 320x240 resolution. your phone probably can't even run this game. screen resolutions that low are most def low end phones.
time to upgrade with a 2 year plan buddy.

on that note. i tried to get this to run without rooting. and since u need to root inorder to use chainfire3d. im gonna just have to wait til the LG exclusive is over! nothing like having bad ass street fighter on my phone. but not gonna void my warranty for it.

Chainfire require root permission . So it will not work on unrooted devices .
