Same here on SGS2 i9100. Maybe a bit of bad textures in the road, but it's completely playable and enjoyable.

Does this game have touch controls or is it only motion based?

Both. The game mostly uses motion based controls (for steering) but you have to touch the bottom left or right sides of the screen for the brake and gas. There are also touch screen icons to hit for things like nitros, oil slicks and radar jams.

I know you asked this question a while back, but it seems like no one answered you so here goes...first off, NFS Hot Pursuit is the newest of the two games. As for a quick general comparison, NFS Shift is a circuit racing game where you race other drivers on a closed circuit track (no traffic, no cops) and you are driving sort of modified stock race cars. Whereas Hot Pursuit takes place off track and on regular roads (although closed so it's not an open environment where you can drive anywhere) with standard traffic like basic cars and trucks, and cops that will try to stop you from speeding. In Hot Pursuit you will be driving standard sports cars to exotics but none are race modified. You can also drive as the cop trying to stop the speeders.

There are lots of other smaller differences that many people would probably point out, but since no one else answered you hopefully this at least gives you a basic idea about the two games.

Just disable horizantal tilt then you can control using accelerometer and in chainfire3D check 32 bit to make gameplay smoother..

Install the apk, run the game with wifi connection, it will ask you to download data, don't select yes or no and simply press the return key on your phone to close the application. inside your Sd card , in the Android folder, in data, you will find a folder by the name com.eamobile.nfshotpursuit_sonyericsson without any data, copy the files inside the folder you have downloaded and paste into this folder, start the game with wifi connection and will work.

for sensation users, after you let it update it will download additional data of 322 mb, don't close or end the download when it shows 100% and 322 mb, let it complete till it starts the game itself. you are good to go on any rom 2.3.3 or 2.3.5. I am on Insert coin 2.3.5 sense 3.5 and bricked kernel 1.2 game is running perfectly without any problems.

Did u try turning off horizontal tilt in the options? Don't know if it'll help. I have a gtablet (tegra 2 tablet) but it runs on froyo 2.2 and I have no problems steering.
