A lot of Nokia N8 users who had a problem with their device did a hard reset, and they lost many pre-loaded contents, including photos, videos like the TRON: Legacy trailers, widgets, and applications. They ended up going to Nokia Care Center for a reprogram in which they are required to leave the device for almost a week. Well, you don't have to leave your precious Nokia N8 at NCC. We have a method on how to reprogram - or reflash - your Nokia N8. Just download the PDF file below for the instructions.

All you need is a common sense, follow instructions carefully and you're good to go! :)

or if you want it as it was out of the box with the latest available firmware:

go to 'settings/phone/phone management/factory settings/delete data and restore' on your N8

download and install Nokia Software Updater here (for a windows pc) (http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/device-software-update/update-with-pc)

plug your phone in using usb lead

run Nokia Software Updater and follow the instructions and select Reinstall (or Install if an update is available)
