newbie question: installing gamelft games problem why so many apks

hey guys I am a newbie to the android platform, I bought an xperia play.

I am so confused why most the games I try to install don't work.

Sometimes I downlaod the apk and then allow it to download the data file by wifi. Mostly never succeded.

On other occasions I download the apk and the data file, and store the data file in sdcard/gameloft/game/
and still no luck,

could that be due to that I am using the wrong apk, where is the problem here. And for experia play which apks should I download.

I am so confused as installing games on the iphone was so easy now here I never succeeded. Also why are there so many apks one for samasung, one for HTC one for sony ericsson.

Also somerimes i see people saying use titantium to back up what is meant by backing up the game with titanium, I don't understand the concept of it.

my experia play is rooted and i did a backup with titantium

Please guys a detailed explanation would be much appreciated

beacuse android phones not lik IPHones dont hav de same hardware....so different phones wid different prossers require different ones..........as for de xperia play ...u can try all de xperia play optimised ones.....and 2.3.3 ones....old ones arent optimized for a new phone lik de play !!:)
