help..pc won't detect phone

i dont kow if dis is the right place to post dis or nt..but here goes(if nt point me to the right place)
i have a Samsung galaxy sl which wont get detected on my pc with wndows 7 64-bit.
i installed the latest version of samsung kies but still no luck.
my phone goes into the kies mode but my does not show anything.
pls help

Dude, have you no clue how to use search or at least the control panel on your computer, or look for a forum specific to your Galaxy, there are literally hundreds. Yeah I'm gonna flame you because there's no need in posting a thread without having done ANY research... Your problem is W7 64 bit doesn't play nicely with ANdroid drivers, it has to be coaxed. I'll let you get off your tail and do some research, but it IS a driver problem
