1. core file of all s60 v3fp2 v5, s^3 can be moded.

(1)open core file(MCU)

(1)check keep the old CRC32.

(2)Extract.

(3)Rofs Calibration.(all 2B change to 2C or 2A)

(3)Expansion rofs1.

(4)Edit files.

(5)repack.



2. rofs2/3 can be moded normally like old phone with any tool (NE/NFEstdAdonix/NFEdoctorly)

3. Edit Rofs2 and rofs3.

4. flash with Pheonix.


we can port on x7 or other symbian^3 to C7 v20(rm-691):

The method use:

you have to extract zip file and copy all file into rofs3 or 2 or core but for add every pack :

you have to change name ecom-2-X.spi file, edit X = ex : for one pack ecom-2-1.spi or two pack ecom-2-1.spi and ecom-2-2.spi for three pack ecom-2-1.spi 2 3 and .....

yes you can add fonts to rofs2.
rofs files is your mobile's Z drive.[Rom Drive].
UDA is C Drive.[Phone Memory]
if you want to add some mods or apps then extract rofs files with Nokia Cooker.

i have a problem with NFE core2 eng...
when open "RM-718_111.040.1511_79u_prd.core.fpsx" or any other rofs2/3, uda file
it says " this file is not for me"
what to do pls tell me.

by the way i had used nokia cooker 3.0 upack these file,
i added my fonts to rofs2/resource/fonts then save FW
but the uotput file was bigger than original...i clicked extend Rofs..it had expanded the size & saved it again
flashed using phoenix...but phone got dead not work
pls guid me...how to compress this
