Custom FW for S60v3 Phones

U did make a custom firmware for E52

And there are some theme effects which i ve seen in E5 CFW, try to import that too...ll try ur firware on my friends phone

I try make cfw for my nokia 5700 couple of time but every time I flash it my phone want boot
I did not make any mistake while im making it but it never boot
and many of S60v3 devices not good enough for cfw

buddy u'r right making cfw for s0v3 phones is little bit difficult but it is'nt impossible... many people are trying to create CFW for s60v3 phones which are working great....

Man...i had it trying to use a CFW

I tried to install v71 based CFW which was a downgrade frm my native v81 for my E5-00, the phone just refused to get detected while flashing using both Phoenix and JAF, then after that i decided to downloaded the version which had only ENGLISH as language so that i cud save some space (mine was arabic code) and finally my phone resurrected from death :P

But again prob happened!!!! They symbols are different on each version, so when i press on something on the keypad something else comes.
So genuine advice, be very specific with your phone versions, atleast be sure that the symbols on the keypad and keystrokes match while flashing, so as far as custom firmwares of E5-00 is concerned, its gonna be a tough job.

great buddy... thanks for reporting.. one thing is clear that installing CFW on on s60v3 phone is very complicated...

I dont have a time cause am bussy now adays...........
But what you guys want to mod in it.... ?

*to free ram?
*music player?
*camera quality?
*changing language?
*add or delete language?
*font?
*java midlet + symbian hack?

there is alot of mod just like in s60v5.....

I moded n79 32.001 fw by removing many useless native apps, ringtone from core firmware file with use of nokia cooker and nokia frmware editor software. I combine this core file with 'emperor's n79 mod cfw'.
But my main demand for cfw is to add guardian or any antitheft third party application in rom so..i can get my phone most probably even aftr hard reset by theft.
Thanx in advance if any1 knws how to do tht.
