Carla and Donna Upcoming Symbian Updates?





Good News for Symbian lovers, its looks like Nokia is already working on next Symbian updates. Folks over Symbianlatino had came up with a slide image showing the future roadmap for Symbian, displaying two upcoming updates named 'Carla & Donna' .



The slide image was showed during Nokia Devoloper Day in Mexico. Although the image is not blur but you can clearly see the two planned update names - 'Carla & Donna' .

Symbian Carla:

• 8.0 Browser
• Dolby soundround
• NFC
• Best Widgets

Symbian Donna:

• Exclusive Dual core Equipment.

According to Symbianlatino the Carla is set for late 2012 or early 2013, along with the new generation of devices like N8 successor, with better web browser, new homescreen widgets, full compatibility with NFC and better sound. This version is supposed to run on processors of at least 1 GHz .

Where Symbian Donna update has no released date, its expected to be exclusive for Dual core Nokia devices. And its probably the last update of the symbian.

but sadly, none of these will be available for n8 , c7 or c6-01'.... They will only be released for phones released after these 3 models...
