I used to do that before with N70 and it work fine. I don't know why this version of ftd cannot use FDD BTS Carrier Lock Mode. Any idea?

I have a problem when try to use FDD BTS carrier lock (Display 46-06). Because I'm working in GSM field and try to lock the NodeB.
I try to put FDD frequency and scrambling code (10 digits) but it always show 0 and not lock to the NodeB that I want.
Does anyone have any idea how to lock to NodeB that I want?
My phone is N73 Music Edition.

i still work in Field in Germany, a NodeB is a UMTS-Network-Element, and not GSM, so you have to enter the Scrambling-Code in HEX-Digits for a 3G-Lock, and for GSM you need to enter the Channel-Number in HEX, but for GSM ist in the Menu around 1.x oder so, from 41 on its UMTS, before 41 ist GSM !

SC is 10 Digits ?? Normally its 3 digits in Germany, the Frequency is always the Same ! Why do you want to lock ? Testcalls ?? You will have to switch off the Phone to go back to normal mode everytime after a lock !

You need X-Calc to make it easyer for you, or cal it manually by paper and pen :-)
