Ofcourse Bhai.. just remember this Unlocking with gevey sim depends upon ur Baseband model not ur iOS u can jailbreak ur phone using redsnow or snowbreeze.. I've jailbroken my phone which is unlocked by Gevey, sooo dont u worry feel free to jailbreak it... and if u want to update ur iPhone firmware then remember to restore ur baseband... u can google this tutorial which will tell u how to update and restore baseband..
