Nokia Belle Refresh rolls out via software update starting today

Symbian is dead, right? Right. That however hasn’t stopped Nokia (or Accenture, Symbian’s new owner) from releasing yet another software update for its 2010 range of devices (those that were launched running what was then called Symbian^3).

So, the Nokia N8, E7, C7, C6-01, X7, and Oro are already in the process of receiving the Nokia Belle Refresh update (software version 111.040.1511). The Nokia E6 will get its Belle Refresh (software version 111.140.0058) later this week, and the Nokia 500 at some point in the future.

So what’s this all about? Basically bringing what can be brought from Belle FP1 (probably the last Symbian version to be launched) to these older devices.

The changelog is extensive, and includes everything from an updated Web browser, many new widgets, a better music player, to various fixes and enhancements. Furthermore, the Nokia N8 will get some new extra preinstalled imaging apps. All of the phones will get Microsoft Office mobile apps and the Nokia Maps Suite 2.0 built into the firmware (these were previously available via separate downloads).

download Microsoft Apps via Nokia Store to save your space on C drive...

& Nokia N8 has a update of Nokia Belle Refresh of around 12 MB

Dial Pad *#0000#.....options Check for Updates....

relax download all the heap of files i gave to you...it will take u 4 to 5 days or depending on your net speed...

then put all the files on your non internet PC....

then connect to me again...i will help you save your nokia.....

bro i am having problem in updating my nokia 808 .. I download the software updatr file from device manager , after restart i the error msg appears , please help what should i do for update?

had the same problem with my C7, saying the package is faulty, truble is he do not try to download it again, he always try to install the same (faulty) package

My Friend The Jackhammer......still there is no Nokia Belle Refresh for your product code 059D597 on the nokia servers.....but soon you will have it till then enjoy minor updates & fixes.....
