KillBackground 1.3.1-5 is a jailbreak tweak for iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch that requires iOS 4, iOS 5 or iOS 6. KillBackground v1.3.1-5 has the ability to kill all background applications from switcher. KillBackgroundis a simple utility that allows you to close out all background running applications in a single tap.KillBackground version 1.3.1-5 installs itself into your multitasking bar, so there’s no need to mess with 3rd party applications. Although Apple took a couple of years to implement system-wide multitasking in iOS, it seems to do the trick. It’s easy to access the multitasking bar from any application, and for the most part, apps running in the background don’t slow you up. KillBackground 1.3.1-5 is the latest and updated version that released with Apps filter is back and it works with iOS6.
Procedure:

  1. SSH into your device using iFile or a desktop program like iPhoneExplorer and navigate to System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app.
  2. Scroll until you see Kill-Badge.png and Kill-Badge@2x.png and delete those 2 files.
  3. Open your multitasking tray and you will see that there is no icon but tapping the corner will still close your running applications.
