Default Nokia E72 (latest OVI Maps version?)

    Hi people

I'm a Nokia E73 Mode which is pretty similar to the E72.

It already seems to have OVI Maps built into it because i cannot remove it anywhere.

The map versions its running is 3.03.

am i right that it can go to version 3.04?

However Nokia Suite doesnt prompt me for an update to 3.04.. EVER.

Anyway ive downloaded 3.04 from here: http://nds1.nokia.com/phones/files/s...03_s60_3.2.sis

It installed ok but after install it was AWFUL.

Closed every time i tried to input a location saying 'memory full' dont get me started on 'Memory Full' thats an unsolvable issue it seems most people have with E72s and E73s.

Anyway finally in the app mgr Nokia Maps appeared. Which was 6MB, So i uninstalled it which bought me back to the original Ovi Maps 3.03.

I want to be able to use a stable version of 3.04 without it always exiting due to "Memory full" of course "memory full" is a load of bollocks because its the only app that's open.

It says my latest map version is: 0.1.28.107 this is for Australia.

does anyone know if there are any maps available for S60 3rd devices from 3rd party websites? Or does Nokia Suite always find the latest map data for my E73 device?

    Please let me know!

    Thanks guys.

You could try installing an app that will show you how much free memory (RAM) you actually have. "Swiss Manager Pro" is one, also "Y-Tasks", I think. Do you have any apps that automatically run on startup (even in the background)?
