    Default My Android Can't find Wi-fi sharing from my PC

    Hello
    I have a samsung Galaxy S3 ... I'm out of US now and I don't have the wifi in the current country of resident ... i'm using a USB Modem to connect my PC to internet and I need to connect my Galaxy 3 to internet as well to check for updates and stuff .. but when I try to do a network and internet sharing or AD-HOC wifi my iPod finds it and my Galaxy CAN NOT find it ... whats the solution

    Well because your ipod can connect to Wifi that rules out the Wifi signal so it seems to be something with your Android device. Try “Network Signal Speed Boost VIP” link below it has very good reviews & helped one of my friends with a similar problem.

    Install the wifi fixer app to solve all the issues of wifi.

    Because android don't support ad-hoc wifi hotspot.

    If you have internet connectivity then you can make your laptop as wifi hotspot and you can use laptop internet on your smart phone. I am using my laptop internet via Conectify wifi hotspot. Its easy.

    do the following steps
    run a cmd with administrator privilages
    type the following

    1. netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=NAME key=PASSWORD


    2. netsh wlan start hostednetwork


    3. netsh wlan stop hostednetwork

    after that share the connection from the netsetter
