Just run my CodeRus norton Hack on My Nokia E6

Hi people

Just run my Coderus Norton patch on my E6.

I followed all directions as was described and when i applied them in ROMPatcher they were both green and set to auto so that seemed to work ok.

However i still couldnt install unsigned apps.. It told me to contact developer.

So i copied the installserver to c:/sys/bin and by doing so i can now install unsigned apps.

I'm wondering if my phone is properly hacked now though?

Is there anything else i need to do or is that it?

Sorry pardon my ignorance but what is CFW? Is it current firmware?

Just another question.... Been tryna do this to my Dads E6 too but this time no luck what so ever!

Despite the fact i did EXACTLY as i did above to my other E6 my Dads E6 had different results. In a way that still trying to install apps im getting errors about it not being signed.

I have tried all of Coderuss tips but still get the same result.

I think this may be to do with the fact i backed up his old E63 content onto the PC and then used that backed up E63 content to restore it to his new E6. I am currently doing a refresh of the firmware via nokia suite but i still for some reason feel this won't fix it.

Apart from that i don't know what to do.

My E6 which i hacked earlier is running sweet.

Its just my Dads now... I CANNOT seem to install unsigned apps still. Despite following the exact same procedure i done on mine.

If you could perhaps suggest anything else or another way of hacking it?
