firstly i wanted the title only to be 'Your Own IMAGE hosting site' but then
i thought i would be a bit misleading therefore i rephrase it and inserted
the giant world known as blogger.
yes, i know you maintain blogs , you have used them but
today i will tell you a way through which you can use blogger for hosting your images
, obviously through creating a blog , and this is not a
trick , its something you may not have thought of , or you may not have noticed
or maybe you are aware of it.
blogger is a free service and you can create unlimited blogs if you want
, i guess .
blogger is a service of Google, which lets you create blogs ,
you can use blogs for many reasons , but today we will be using blogs for
uploading images and hosting them for lifetime.
the reason i am writing this article because :
on other sites there are two categories Premium and Free , and there
are some privileges which are only available for premium
sites like tinypic etc requires you to enter a very very irritating captcha
for each pic / images you upload , oMG
they dont give you unlimited bandwidth , which means when the bandwidth is
finished / exceeded of your images, means when they seen too many times
then you will experience this thing:
obviously they dont keep your files for life time and
dont give you unlimited space
you can only upload one images per upload , a shining example is tinypic.com
, a widely used website , however some sites also support Multi uploads..
And if you use BLOGGER / BLOGSPOT as your IMAGE HOSTING site then :
or ADVANTAGES of using blogger / Google services
as image hosting server,
it will host your images for lifetime ,
your bandwidth will never be exceeded , no expiration date , until Google dies and its this
operation called BLOGGER , closure happens , blogger i worth $0.750million , i hope that will not happen , its closure.
you can upload up to 5 images per upload , cheers
of course there is no captcha , which irritates me a lot
there is nothing like premium because they give you everything , yes its true
with creation of one blog , it will give you 1024 MB / 1GB space , which i think
is more then enough for images , if you want more then create another blog , you
can create unlimited blogs .
it will resize the images for you as well , if you want , online.
LETS BEGIN:
step 1 :first you have to create a blog in blogger , i hope this is not so difficult.
go to blogger and create a blog , takes almost 30seconds , here http://www.blogger.com.
step 2 :when you have created a blog , you will see a page identical to this one in the below screen shot.
step 3: click on the NEW POST at the top left , below ''my blogs''! and this page should appear.
step 4: if you can see in the screen shot , the blog i am currently giving screen shots of is named IMAGE HOSTING , written at the top left. below IMAGE HOSTING there is COMPOSE and HTML , press HTML , and this page should appear.
step 4 : at the top left there is COMPOSE, HTML ,and some symbols and there is written LINK with LINK there is symbol of an image click thatand this page should appear.
step 5: now you will see only one BROWSE for image , click on ADD ANOTHER IMAGE and i will add more for you , you can do up to 5.OK now just go through them and select images from HDD and then scroll down , like shown in the below screen shot.
step 6: when you have scrolled down , click on the LARGE , also TICK 'use this layout every time and click upload . ( the reason for large is that , that it will give you the original images, you can later resize it you want.)
after clicking upload this should appear.
step 7: it will upload images in some time depending on your internet speed , obviously , and then click DONE as shown below.
step 8 : after clicking done this page will appear , as shown in below in below screen shot .
note that i have uploaded only two images but it has given me 4 URLs.
two urls for each images.you can pick anyone of these two .
lemme tell you that why these urls are four instead of two ,
when you upload a single images on blogger , in HTML section it will show 2 URLS ,
the first URL is the redirection url , which means when you click on that images , the browser will take you that URL , when that post is published , but here both urls are same so if , when the post is published , the images is clicked it will not take to anywhere but will simply enlarge the images as both of the urls are identical.
when you upload a link on the blogger , before that you upload an images such as a download button , or a ''click here'' button , in the first url give that link, and publish it , now when people click on that download / click here button it will redirect them to the link you specified in HTML.
the second url is simply the link of the images. but for hosting purposes you can use both of them
as we are not discussing blogging here.
i think we are done here , now for resizing the images ,
just go back to COMPOSE and you will see the images you uploaded in Graphical user interface , cheers , now click on that images , any of them, you will option like small , large, medium , original size etc . click on any size and go to back to HTML and get your link
EXAMPLE of Resized IMAGES with BLOGGER :
SMALL
MEDIUM
LARGE
EXTRA LARGE
ORIGINAL
NOTE:
WHEN YOU RE-SIZE IMAGES , THEN YOU HAVE TO TAKE /SELECT THE SECOND LINK .
yes , this article took a lot of time from me to write because when it comes to writing i make simple things complicated and write a lot, if you are a bit sensitive and appreciative then please comment below and repute to encourage me.

and this page should appear.
