Garmin XT Mobile & Maps Install - Unlock - Full Guide For New Users

PLEASE! HELP!!!
I have an N97 and have tried 1000 times to install Garmin on my phone to no success.
I have already hard reset the phone at least 3 or 4 times, and still, no success.
I copied the 4 folders: garmin, private, resource, sys to the mSD card, then installed the application using Nokia PC Suite
When I try to run the program, only Garmin in white letters on a black screen appears for about 3 seconds then it disapears as if the application closed. No error indications or anything like that.
I really want this program running on my N97, because I had it running on my previous N95 and it is a charm :-)
Any help, as to what I might be missing or doing wrong.

i had followed all the installation instructions but if i open garmin in my mobile it is closing immediately.plzz help me

jayavardhan: I had exactly the same problem. It seems that on some phones it works straight out of the packages, and in others it doesn't. I finally got it working, as we say in spanish "like the donkey that played the flute". I tried to remember what I had done just after I got it working, and don't take this for granted, but this is what I wrote then, which I hope I recalled it correctly then, and also that it helps you now:
* install program and garmin folder from Garmin 5.00.60 standalone en-gr
* run it. It crashes
* copy garmin folder from GarminMobileXT_5_00_60_S60_TW
* run it again. It should work
One thing that might sound confusing is that in 5.00.60 standalone en-gr, it says to copy all 4 folders to memory card. Don't. You'll overwrite basically the same files the installation put there in the first place.
On my N97, I could put everything in the mass memory (which is a lot bigger than any memory card), and it worked.

I forgot: what I call GarminMobileXT_5_00_60_S60_TW is the update, not the standalone application

one last thing: what I haven't been able to do, is to change the display language to spanish. Currently it only offers english and 2 kinds of chinese (don't know the difference), but I haven't found a way to make it display the options in spanish or any other language for that matter. Any help on this, will be much appreciated

& Try this Process again correctly

u mean the language like option, back etc want to change into u'r language or u mean is the voice?
this some trick to change the voice. Rename original name on folder Garmin/voice/English_American_.vpm to English_American_2.vpm. Then put u'r voice to same folder (exmple indonesia_.vpm) and rename to English_American_.vpm
Done. The voice was changed

is it worked on u'r n97? last i tried v. 5.00.50 i have problem with back button. so im use NDrive for n97.

It's working on my N97... No problem with the back button, or the street number as many complain... sometimes it freezes when you try to browse the map with the touch screen, but not so much if you try the nav scroll on the keyboard...
I meant the display language... everything that appears on the screen... for the voice options, you don't have to rename the files... once you put all the language files in the correct folder, they appear as an option in the menu (don't have my phone with me right now to tell you which option)
