    Must Read, Feedback & Support

Regarding Flash Video: Skyfire supports Flash video only on many websites (Not all sites are supported due to proprietary video players and content that is hidden behind interactive Flash. Note: Skyfire does NOT support Flash media – So sites like educational interactive websites with touch interaction, buttons, animations, games, etc. will not function with Skyfire. Many Flash videos are hidden behind registration pages and logins that Skyfire cannot access – We ask that you understand that Skyfire does not claim support for the entirety of the web, but do our best to support a large percentage of the Flash videos and players available. Thank you for your support!

Please send us an email at support@skyfire.zendesk.com if you are not satisfied with any aspect of the product. If you just mention it in the App Store, our support team has no way to respond to you to resolve your issue. We’d love the opportunity to help.
    What's New

Skyfire - The first to offer Flash video on iOS – Is now the first to offer contextual browsing!

Thanks for all of the great feedback on the newly launched Skyfire for iPad 5.0! We hope you are enjoying the Skyfire Horizon toolbar which is the first ever contextual toolbar for mobile browsing. Contextual browsing means that the web apps you select to have featured in your own Skyfire Horizon toolbar are able to react to the page and content you are browsing; offering amazing browsing tools, enhancements, recommendations and search improvements never before available to a mobile browser.

*For those who would like to remove all the social and interactive buttons from Skyfire, we hear you & are working on an update which will allow users to disable the Skyfire Horizon toolbar. (Coming in early January)

    Regarding Video:

Skyfire attempts to offer additional browsing benefit by working to enable Flash video on iPad. Flash video playback is a complicated problem to solve (There is a reason why it is not offered native on iPad). As a reminder (clearly stated in the AppStore description) Skyfire does NOT render Flash video that is hidden behind pages with Javascript or proprietary video players, Flash animations, website interaction (buttons), games or educational Flash tools. May we kindly ask that prior to leaving a negative rating on iTunes, please confirm that the issue you are experiencing is not related to these traits and please reach out to us at www.getsatisfaction.com.skyfire_iphone.

To engage missing video with Skyfire, browse to a page with Flash video (Disregard and do not click on the "You Need Flash Warning Download" message) > Instead, click on the "Video" icon in the top right-hand corner of the the Skyfire top toolbar > Skyfire will then analyze the page to determine if there is accessible Flash video code > If the code is available (and not hidden behind proprietary/publisher code, Skyfire will present a "Play" button – and you are on your way to enjoying Flash video on your iPad.

Please realize we do our best to offer support for as many websites and video players as we can and we thank you for your continued support!

More great things to come from Skyfire in 2013! - Happy Browsing!
