    Default FF7 Working on Android

    Hey,

So iv been REALLY wanting to play FF7 again lately, have it for my PS2 but really not arsed hooking the PS2 up and trailing cables to my comfy bed (even if they did reach) So i started looking for ways to get it working on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus I9250. Was delighted to find out its already been done and i could just use an emulator. I got the ePSxe emulator, downloaded the iso files for FF7, downloaded the BIOS file for PS1 games. But when i launch FF7 i just get a blank screen with the controls on screen. Here are some images to show what i mean.

    Bios File:

    Game Iso's:

What happens after clicking Disc 1:

Then it just stays blank like that after the prompt message disappears.
Would anyone here know what the problem is?

Iv tried both ePSXe and FPse now at this stage, with ePSXe I get the above all the time, and using FPSe i get this:

    Bios loaded:

    Selecting Cd1:

    Sony Logo launching:

Then this cd player screen appears and thats it, cant do anything from there. I press the play button and a counter just starts thats it, no sound or game launching:

Iv been trying to figure this out all day now. I thought it might be the ISO's so i downloaded FF8 iso's also and the exact same thing happens with that. I am in the middle of ripping ISO images from my actual real copy of FF7, in the off chance it is the ISO's. But other than that i cant seem to figure it out.

It's an iso issue, just rip your own cds or redownload them, this game working great in both emulators.

Nope, ripped my own version of the game and the exact same things happen in both ePSXe and FPse, i must be doing something wrong, i just cant figure it out >.<

    EDIT:

So i downloaded another version from coolrom.com, and this was in a .bin and a .cue format, so i slapped both those files onto my phone and now it seems to run fine with no problems.... cant believe it took me all day today just to do that :P
