All weapons and armor do not deduct coins when purchased, but all items in the herbalist shop cannot be bought, as if you didn't have enough coins or gems. Also, buying skills from the trainer still costs coins or gems, as well as restoring your depleted energy bar.

Other than those, this game is playable using a 'don't-get-hit strategy'
