plaese tell me how to download western europ maps Q3 simbian
Actually, I have Route66 installed in my N96 with fully working "Western Europe" -map, but not with EU map.
Symbian S60 does not handle files larger than 2 Gb, therefore the map must be smaller than that. The EU -maps (R66.8.EU09Q4 and R668.08Q3EU) are too big, but the "Western Europe" -map (R668.08Q3.WE) is just about 2 Gb, and works fine with this version of Route66 software. I do not mind if the map is a "little bit" old (1 year old, that is nothing).
I enclose here few files, with help of them, you are able to download the working and non-working maps. I enclose the non-working too, just in case somebody needs them. Also East Europe -map (works too) is enclosed.
The .txt file contains some basic information I collected about the maps (I downloaded them all).
In order to download the map(s), you need also JDownloader -software. With JDownloader you download the files a little bit same way than with a torrent. It just takes longer. Anyway the downloading time is "reasonable".
The password for the downloaded map -archive is same than the filename. I.e. when you have downloaded the map -archive using JDownloader, the password for the "Western Europe" -map is R668.08Q3.WE.
