same problem here. then i tried using mm 9 v 7.71 and it worked! uninstall and switched back to mm 10 and failed. mm 10 seems to have different mlm structure than mm 9. and the guides lying everywhere all actually points to mm 9. mm 10 seems to only allow 1 mlm file for each map. using raju's sample for malaysia, theres 3 parts in the file namely, DEFAULT, EXTEUR and mys. this makes mm 10 ask for 3 different product activation, whereas keygen only provide a single code. heres what i did:

SMM10 Malaysia.mlm
[PRODUCT:SMM10 Malaysia]
name=SMM10 Malaysia
tts=no
sdk=no
truckAttr=no
premiumPOI=no
exPostals=yes
maps=TA:MYS:2009.03

SMM10 Singapore.mlm

maps=TA:SGP:2009.03

2 mlm files placed in Maps folder
get codes for both mlm from keygen (device id is constant)
place maps in their respective folders. must correspond with the map line in mlm file. in my case, MYS and SGP. not sure if caps is required
the rest is the same as raju's instructions.

the malaysia,singapore map link you provided contain several files but none of them is .pak. my guess is the pak is unpacked. can someone provide a link for pak handler so that i can try packing them into .pak? yes i've googled but they all link to those sites that my ip is always downloading something when i'm obviously not downloading anything. thx!

The MLM file for your original maps needs to be the new format.

I am having the same problem on my Hero

I have the following file structure on my SD card

sd\drive
sd\maps
sd\res

sd\maps\grc\grc.pak
sd\maps\wcl\wcl.pak
sd\maps\licence.txt
sd\maps\SMM10 Europe.mlm
sd\maps\SMM10 Greece.mlm

I have activated Greece.mlm successfully (apparently) but it still states that no map is loaded

My SMM10 Greece.mlm text is

Its not the .mlm file I think. I had the same problem. In the tutorial the OP forgot te mention that you have to unpack the map because now it is a .rar file. Unpack it and you should be fine. Well I was after unpacking.

It runs fine on my G1. Had to get used to the responsivity but that’s the program.

Does it work to plan a route where your destination is on an other map across the border? Because you have to select a map. Didn’t have time to test it. Does anyone have experience with this? In Europe the counties are not so big and when you live near a border it would be very useful if it worked.

hi raju,

sorry for d noob question. i am experiencing same problem unable to detect map after launching sygic.
here's what i did :

i have downloaded sygic 10 for android from ur link and malaysia map onto my htc desire.

1. installed the sygic apk file
2. unrar and put in the map (mys.pak) onto sdcard\maps\mys

may i know how do i put in the keygen step by step?
*also i cant find the mlm files!
