what is wrong?
i am using res and drive from this india pack and maps from another india pack from different thread.
drive folder has only android folder and all other folders deleted.

same problem here. then i tried using mm 9 v 7.71 and it worked! uninstall and switched back to mm 10 and failed. mm 10 seems to have different mlm structure than mm 9. and the guides lying everywhere all actually points to mm 9. mm 10 seems to only allow 1 mlm file for each map. using raju's sample for malaysia, theres 3 parts in the file namely, DEFAULT, EXTEUR and mys. this makes mm 10 ask for 3 different product activation, whereas keygen only provide a single code. heres what i did:

SMM10 Malaysia.mlm

SMM10 Singapore.mlm

2 mlm files placed in Maps folder
get codes for both mlm from keygen (device id is constant)
place maps in their respective folders. must correspond with the map line in mlm file. in my case, MYS and SGP. not sure if caps is required
the rest is the same as raju's instructions.

The method above works for my WinMo phone (HTC Touch Pro). before i had the no map-but-already-registered problem, but now it works 100%..
I also tried to install it to my Android on Touch Pro (XDANDROID) on the same phone using the setupAndroid.APK & the map are as accessible as in WinMo.

HOWEVER..

when i tried it in my S60v3 (nokia 6220c)
before i tried the above method (using 1 by 1 mlm files & new format for mlm) the problem that i have are that the number from the keygen always wrong. I can't get it registered. I tried the method above but i still failed.

When i go back to sygic MM9, using the same keygen, device ID & the same map (PAK) files, i can register it with no problem.

Can somebody help me?

i confirm that the problem is in my 8GB MicroSDHC, not the symbian OS.
I tried installing these files on my 1GB spare MicroSD to my 6220c, & it CAN install to my symbian (6220c) with no problems.

It seems that the device ID seemed different when using a large (SDHC) card. the keygen always generate wrong code with that device ID. Can anybody confirm this?

sorry for d noob question. i am experiencing same problem unable to detect map after launching sygic.
here's what i did :

i have downloaded sygic 10 for android from ur link and malaysia map onto my htc desire.

1. installed the sygic apk file
2. unrar and put in the map (mys.pak) onto sdcard\maps\mys

may i know how do i put in the keygen step by step?
*also i cant find the mlm files!

let me answer 1 part of your question, to create a .mlm file, i just open the europe mlm that came with the download on the 1st page, then i edit using notepad and save .mlm.

Wondering is your problem has resolved? I am also using Xperia 10 and seeing same issue.
Please let me know how to resolve this issue.
I am able to activate the MMI , it starts with asking setting and do saving and comes out, affter that whenever try to start Mobiles map 10, it shows saving and immdiatly comes out.
Please help.
