Nokia 5800 v50 Hacked PNHT Method Complete Step By Step Tutorial

This procedure will help you get a hacked 5800 RM-356 v50.0.005

Discalimer: I am not responsible for your wrongdoings or for any damage this may cause. Follow this method at your own risk. This will erase all the data on your handset. Make sure to backup with Nokia PC Suite before you do this. Also, make sure you have already updated to v50 before using this hack. It is safer to update via Nokia Software Updater than JAF or Phoenix, in my opinion.

Explanation
Since not everyone wants a custom firmware and many still rely on PNHT's method of hacking, I thought I might release this. This has all the standard additions mentioned when v50 was first leaked like Get Rhianna and Quickoffice. To be honest, I've searched all the firmwares and they seem to have this as a default.

Method
1. Download your firmware files with Navifirm

2. Download uda from here :

3. replace your original uda with this uda

4. then copy all file to C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\RM-356

5. then flash with jaf

6. Restart your phone. Go to applications. Go to Rom Patcher +. You will see 2 patches. Installserver and Open4all. If you want to turn on a patch, tap it twice until it has a green check mark beside. Installserver should be on if you want to install anything. Open4all means you can access all system files on c:\ and e:\

so that means, I have to update firmware first to v50 (by flashing), then re-flash the phone again to v50 but this time, do the steps?

I'm on v11 5800 XM, RM-356 right now.. from v11, If I update to v50, will it work? (using phoenix)

You don't need to reflash it. Just download your firmware by navifarm then download post 1 rofs2 copy it in your firmware folder . Use jaf or phonixe for flash

I've downloaded all the necessary files already.

I like to try this, because my 5800 is just v11 ... and If I updated the firmware via NSU to latest version, it will be hard to hack right?

since all new firmwares are unhackable, unless you flash it to latest firmware with some modification in it using Phoenix or JAF.

is there any way to hack latest firmware without flashing your phone? (I'm not updated with this stuff) thanks for the help

No last hackble firmware by helloox was v30. You can update your firmware to v30 and hack with helloox. Also you can hack your curent firmware by helloox then update firmware by OTA. if you update by ota it will remain hacked.

but I want to try the OTA method to my brother's phone mentioned by Theone.. OTA means you will use the Phone's WiFi to download directly from phone using the update option ("Options > Check For Updates") is that correct??

I have a few questions as I have not tried OTA yet:
1. Will it Flash the phone? (erase all data)
2. If it fails, like if the connection declines, Will it brick the phone?
3. as stated by Theone, why does the hack stay after updating via OTA? will the hack stay even if you update from v11 to v50? thanks..

by the way, just joined the forums yesterday, I have to say, the people here are very helpful.. Thanks ^_^

Answer : when you update by pc it erase all data on phone then install new firmware. By OTA only updated file flashed so hacked remain.
