hye is there any tutorial on setting up garmin using nokia c7.

i succesfully installed this on my nokia C7 unit and it's about 4 days now that i am using without any problems at all...i can say this is much better that ovi map. Installation is just the same, follow the instruction on this post...

actually i already have garmin installed and crack in my nokia c7 but everytime i started the app. then it will ask for the gps. and when i enable the gps its says no gps available and sometime neeed to on the bluetooth gps. i already on my bluetooth but still wont work. any help please ?

Here is what i do on my C7:
1. Press the menu button and go to "settings". And then go to "Application settings"
2. On the "Application Settings", select the "Positioning", then select "Positioning Methods"
3. Inside the "Positioning Methods" you will find the following selections:
- Assisted GPS
- Integrated GPS
- Bluetooth GPS
- Wi-Fi/Network
- Network Based
You must check only the "Integrated GPS" and uncheck the others. And you are done on the setting of C7.

Now you must check the setting on the GarminXT application:
1. On the main screen of the application, on the upper left portion near the phone's signal info you will find the GPS signal. Press that icon and you will open the "GPS Information" screen. You must see the GPS status of your phone. If not, select the "Enable" button on the lower right of the screen.
2. You may also check the GPS setting for this application when you go to:
- Tools>Settings>System>Remote GPS - If the screen shows "Disable", click the "Enable" button on the lower right of the screen

I hope your Garmin MobileXT now will work....

hye yes i already done that butit seem when i go into garmin it still cannot detect the gps. can u please guide me step by step on what u done/ tq

...with my radio on in the car I can't practically hear it. Anybody has that same problem and know any solution to it

I find that Garmin Mobile XT is not as loud as Ovi Maps.

Each application has their own advantages and disadvantages.
