site becoming slow day by day.. please check out

Hate to pickup an old thread, but of late I have been experiencing that this site has become slower and slower
I have used IE, Firefox and Chrome and all has the same lagging issues when trying to scroll the site
I think it may be due to all the Gif images on the "PAID" , "CRKD", etc

Just wanted to know whether there is any settings I can change to speed it up?

I just used my n8 browser to test something, and I'm seeing Ads, but not on Opera Mini, weird!
