OKAY I know this post came out like 3yrs ago, is there a newer way to do it? Also if not does this method still work? If you can can you please tell us the newest way please. Thanks and Have A Great Day.

For that you may have to get acquainted with Android debug bridge(adb). Installing a apk file is pretty simple, all you have to do is to run two commands from Android SDK directory/tools...
