N-Gage v1.40(1557) for E63 (320x240)

Dear E63 users,

After a lot of research and reading many explanations on how to make n-gage work in my E63 I was able to make it work at full screen mode (320x240)... I don't know if this method works for other models but at least it is working perfectly in my E63.

And the first game I played perfectly was Hooked on : Creatures of the Deep, wich u can get here http://symbiantalk.net/showthread.php?t=260

These are the steps:

1- Download and extract the contents of the file "N-Gage 1.40 (for 320x240).rar" to any directory.

2- Install the file "N-Gage v1.40 (1557) s60v3.sis". It will install many files and stuff... you just have to keep pressing the "continue" option until it installs all the stuff.

3- Open the file: "N-GAGE_E-SERIES.rar" and extract its content to any directory. You'll have 3 files: 10202be9.rar, 20001079.txt and playcommon.mbm.

4- Extract the contents of "10202be9.rar", it will decompress a folder with the same name, then you'll have to copy all the files contained in that folder to the following location in your phone: "c:/private/10202BE9" (use X-plore to copy the files). X-plore will ask for permission to overwrite some files, just hit yes to overwrite the files.

In order to view the files your phone has to be h4cked or you won't be able to see, copy and overwrite the files. I'm not expert h4cking phones but you can find here http://symbiantalk.net/showthread.php?t=3784

5- Copy the file "20001079.txt" (located in N-GAGE SERIE E.rar) to the same location in your phone (c:/private/10202BE9).

6- Copy the file "playcommon.mbm" (located in N-GAGE_E-SERIES.rar) to the following location in your phone: "c:/resourcer/apps" and overwrite the existing file if it asks.

7- Install the "N-Gage.Fixes.sis" file to correct some issues with some games

Also, you can use Magickey to map your QWERTY keyboard to the traditional layout used by n-gage as it doesn't properly support the keyboard of E63/E71. (I've added the installer to the rar file in case you don't have it already)

Hope this works for you as it did in my E63. I'm so sorry if it just repost, but I've edited based on my experience.

I tried it, and can't copy this file too, but I still can play the N-Gage game without copying this file with installer above (that demonheart.zack posted), and working 100% in my e63.

BUT after copy, Ngage not work after splash screen then ngage will exit.

Its not 320*240. In my E71 its resolution is 240*320.. What's d wrong?
