Ipod can't sync music to mac

I want to sync music from ipod touch to my mac.However，Ipod touch wont do anything. Wont charge or sync with mac. I have tried reseting but nothing happens. Its 7months old. Any idears?

It is very simple if you use the ITUNES software which comes in the package with the ipod touch. Connect the wire and just press sync, all the data and the songs will get synced automatically with in no time and you can also store that as a backup or a restore point in future use.

try to uninstall all apple drivers on your computer and reinstall again. this should recognize your ipod.
